Here is a drawing the Pediatric Cardiologist gave to us when he was showing us what exactly was wrong with my son’s heart. He showed us what Jacob’s heart looks like with Tetralogy of Fallot, and what it will look like after his total heart repair.

I am so happy that my son is healthy and doesn’t need the medicine anymore, but it was just weird thinking that I was going to through it away. All I could think was “what if…”, but now all I can think is he’s fine, he’s healthy and he’s thriving so let’s celebrate this as another milestone. A milestone that he off heart medicine!!!!!
